■SEA JAPAN2024 Showcase

a) Water-lubricated bearing “FF-Bearing CR”
In 2019, we launched FF-Bearing CR(patented), which maximizes low-friction perforamance by eliminating the water groove on the sliding surface.
Compared to conventional rubber bearings, the frictional resistance of FF-Bearing CR is 1/8, resulting in less energy loss and a significant reduction in fuel consumption, contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions, the main cause of global warming.

b) Tail Shaft Condition Monitoring System
It continuously measures the gap between the propeller shaft and the bearing.
By monitoring the gap of wear, it can provide real-time information on the confdition of bearings, reducing the number of inspection and maintenance costs.
It is also applicable to PSCM-1A of NK, shaft removal inspection extension (up to 15 years).
